  Just a quick update on this for anyone who comes across this thread. It seems that T0 isn't triggered during a macro. What makes it freaky is that pressing a move button on DWC doesn't just send a simple G1 move command so it is treated like a macro as far as the trigger handling code is concerned. The triggers work fine if I use use say G1 Z100 F240 in the top left corner of DWC and hit send but if I press the "Z+100" button on DWC.they are ignored. DC42 has it in mind to change the handling of T0 triggers in his next firmware release (but please don't nag him - he's a very busy man). Ian

  Nice, congrats! I just got my (first) wifi in too, and I'm contemplating on whether I should save it for my new cartesian prototype, or put it in my delta in place of the 0.8.5. Besides quieter operation, I'm not sure if there is much other reason to replace the perfectly fine 0.8.5, is there?

  @KalTol1994: In the future I would like to modify the firmware to act as both a laser burner and 3D printer while only swapping the printer head. Has this already been reduced to a simple fix or will I have to brush up on my coding skills? About a year ago another user installed a Duet in his laser cutter, see https://reprappro.com/2015/06/16/reprap-duet-electronics-running-a-laser-cutter-guest-blog/ and http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?133,521301. This didn't require any firmware modificiations and I guess you should be able to achieve what you've been planning by doing the following steps: 1. Add an extra tool with an unused E drive (haven't checked yet if M571 requires one to be configured, but I'd assume so) 2. Run M571 in the tool change macros of your new tools. That way you could enable and disable this particular feature for a specific tool. 3. Use G10 to set the offset of your laser

  Chrishamm maintains the web interface. I suggested to him some time ago that we should time stamp each file with either the upload date or the last-modified date of the original file. I expect he will read this, but I'll add it to my work list anyway.

  If the motor has a flat on it for set screws then its possible the set screw was slightly loose but not enough to free spin so it would lock at x and y rotations but free-spin between the two sometimes.

  @dc42: Currently the only way to change the name is to turn off wifi on your router so that the wifi module starts up in access point mode when you enable it. I attempted that several times before posting this and could never see the AP again from my laptop the way I could during the initial setup. I'll try again tonight. Thanks, Ian

  Well a full wasted day later I think I want to throw the damn Delta out….. the Duet WiFi is performing well though. I'm not seeing disconnects like others and it is behaving... I'll kick off a new thread to see if some experts can help me trouble shoot things.

  Yesterday evening it disconnected after 12 minutes while doing nothing. I have a print running right now, after 20 minutes it was still connected. I have family in town all weekend but I'll try to get a trace uploaded if I have a minute.

I'll try to diagnose my network problems, theres probably some random things connected to the 2.4ghz network that are causing problems like with mhackney. I think some of my hassles will be solved when a new firmware is released that either restarts the web interface automatically or is able to reconnect it to the network.

  Yes, this is true resistance is around 4 so definitely a 12v 40W heater. Thank You David.
