@mentaluproar If I read correctly, lockdown is a form of a firewall and privacy tool.
So one could compare it against eset - which is what I have and I have exactly the same issues as you do. I have to disable web protection in my eset to be able to use the DWC. This came on with a DWC change a while back.

G91 puts your XYZ axes in relative mode, but leaves your extruder in absolute mode
Use M83 to put the extruder in relative mode.
Or even better, set your slicer to use relative extrusion and ensure you have M83 in your start GCode and make sure the slicer doesn't shove an M82 in there.

@phaedrux You were correct. The white wire broke off of the male plug end. Ended up not needing the ! after all. It is working properly now. Thank you for the help there.

@wcarper Just to close the loop - I received the warranty replacement board and it has completely resolved the issue. Also, I inadvertently left the SD card on the returned board so at least you will be able to see all the settings!

The IR sensor doesn't work well with glass beds having any sort of transparent coating. The problem is that the coating is never uniform, so the proportion of light reflected from the surface vs. light reflected from whatever is below the glass varies. Using matt black paint on the surface below the glass (or matt black paper under the glass) helps, but is not a complete solution.
