threw the whole config out the window and started all over, worked alot better.
still had tons of wifi disconnects though, strangely they stopped immidiatly when I disconnected the LCD display

Ok, I just updated to the latest RC's on all three. Lets see how it goes!

I can quite happily confirm that whilst for the last 18 months or so (has it been that long?) I've used 1/16th interpolated for all axes, I did have a period recently of using 1/4 for extruder which turns off interpolation for XYZ. It was a lot noisier but printed exactly the same.

You never need to go through multiple versions when upgrading firmware. The upgrade from 1.18 to 1.19 was more complicated than usual because functions that were previously running on the WiFi module were moved to the main processor so that we have more control over them. This required the interface between the WiFi module and the main processor to be completely rewritten so it wasn't possible to maintain backwards compatibility either way round.

Only integer frequencies are supported, so 1.5Hz will get rounded, to 1Hz AFAIR.

It does sound that the processor has developed a fault. Forum user W3DRK, who is based in the US, may be able to replace it for you.

I think we have to discuss this internaly first @dc42. I will talk to Roland as we already did replace a board for this customer for free(we talked bout that U2 IC thing, short to ground by pushing in the heatblock heaters screw till there was 12/24V on the thermistor,).

The warranty is 6 months, so you are covered.

If you were running the board on USB power only when you attempted to upgrade the WiFi firmware, try again with VIN power applied.

You would use M556 if your X, Y and Z axes don't move exactly at right angles to each other. Most 3D printers have axes that are accurately aligned, so this command is not needed.
