Unsolved New Duet 2 Wifi 1.04 only red leds
-
Hi all. It seems I have an issue with my new duet 2 wifi. I am unable to get the 3.3v or wifi leds to illuminate. There are two red leds, one next to the usb in port and one next to the unlit 3.3v led.
I had connected the 24v Vin correctly before and the board was functioning fine and even had a couple of z axis motors running to test the board before install to my printer. The jumper is placed for 5v Internal. However now I only get the 2 red leds when connected to usb and cannot connect via either VAT or DuetWebControl.

When powered from USB, do any of the component get hot? In particular, the SD card, WiFi module, or main processor?
-
No, I wouldn’t say so. If fact I wouldn’t say any of the components get “Hot” or even warm when USB cable attached.
No COM ports found when I try to connect with YAT software either.

Anything more on this? Am keen to get it working as its the only thing holding up the completion of my printer.

Can you confirm that you have nothing at all connected to the Duet, apart from the USB cable, and the green LED is off? In particular, you have no endstop switches or Z probe connected. Also that the underside of the Duet isn't in contact with anything metallic.
-
Absolutely nothing. USB cable is the only thing.

Assuming it's a genuine Duet, I authorise a replacement, so please make a warranty claim to your supplier.

Thank you, it is, I bought from Ooznest UK.
