DAA on v0.6
-
I'm not sure what this is doing under the hood. Is there any reason to believe it may not work as effectively on a v0.6 than a later board?

What values should you use for instant speed and acceleration before you try to tune Dynamic Acceleration Adjustment?
-
When using DAA, instant speed change (M566) should be low, for example the default 600mm/sewc (or even lower). The acceleration limits (M201 and M204) should be high, otherwise DAA may calculate that a higher acceleration than the limit is desirable but be unable to use it. Beware of slicers that insert M201 or M204 commands into the GCode file.

Thanks, instant speed is in the right place then. What about acceleration. About 1800 for a P3Steel? The rings I measured so far were quite low frequency ~30hz.

I would try higher, perhaps 2000 to 3000, but make sure that the Y axis can handle that acceleration without losing steps.
