geeetech A20T
-
Hi i have a geeetech A20T with three extrudes what would be the best board to use with this 3D printer
-
Duet Maestro might fit the bill.
-
@paulmatthews, how many independent hot end heaters does it have?
-
@dc42 Only has one hot end nozzle but three heaters if you go on eBay and look for Geeetech a20t hot end you will see what i mean
-
@paulmatthews ehm, by that logic if you go to duet3d.com you will see what the boards support.
i think we all saw it had multiple heaters but at a glance its not easy to see if they're all set to the same temperature; the eBay listing shows them with one thermistor which would suggest they're not independently controlled but images on eBay are hardly reliable source of information.
also would need to know the wattage of the heaters, not listed as i could find.

This page https://www.geeetech.com/3-in-1-out-hotend-kit-for-a10t-a20t-p-1126.html says the heater is 24V 20W. So x3 is 60W which at 24V is 2.5A, well within the rating of a single heater output on the Maestro. So a Duet Maestro with the extra 2-stepper daughter board would be able to drive it.
