What fuse its for fan02?
-
Hi,
I noticed that a layer fan was not starting, and I have done some tests to identify the cause:
I have to say that it is a Delta printer, with a Heatsink fan and two layer fans ... And I have the layer fans connected to the FAN0 and FAN2 sockets, the one of the heatsink being on FAN1.
The fan settings in config.g is:
M106 P0 S0 I0 H-1; Layer 01
M106 P1 S0 I0 H1 T80; Heatskin
M106 P2 S0 I0 H-1; Layer 021st Test. The first thing I thought was that the fan was not working. What I have done has been to change the connector for the other fan. Result is that the fan has started, that has ruled out that the problem is the fan or the wiring to the Duet board.
2nd Test. That the fan setup in config.g is not correct, but as you can see from how I have them configured, fan P0 is configured the same as P2.
3rd Test. I suspect the problem is in the fuse, but I don't know if there is a fuse for that fan only, I have been looking at the diagram on the board and I don't see it clearly.
Is there a fuse for each fan? Or is it the same fuse for all fans?
What can be? -
@peirof Afaik, it is one fuse for all of the fans.
You might want to check the jumper just below the fan connectors.
I have tried to find more info on the jumpers, I know on the Duex you can select the voltage output.HTH

Past week, fans worked

Please post full config.g

@peirof I would think this is a MOSFET failure on FAN2, unfortunately.

@droftarts how can check it?
-
Do the fan mosfets look like this?
With skill they are replaceable.

@Phaedrux Thanks.... For the moment will connect two fans to the same socket...
