Z-probe problems
-
from first fast look at files - you dont need to call retractprobe.g and deployprobe.g from homing files, assuming your probe type is defined P9, as you have. So delete those lines or comment them out.
-
@aidar thank you
will try now -
@aidar same .. no change .. still slams the bed
-
after changing files, did you reboot your duet? better to turn it off completely and then turn back on after few seconds to be sure...
-
I also reccomend to change G31 P value to 25 for BLTouch.
After those edits in your files, reboot your board and try from console if M401 and M402 works at all. -
@aidar did reboot .. same issue
changed : M558 P9 H5 F120 R0.2 T6000 A5 B1 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
to : M558 P3 H5 F120 R0.2 T6000 A5 B1 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
got a reading on the zprobe (18) but still slamed the bed, wnt back to :
M558 P9 H5 F120 R0.2 T6000 A5 B1 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds -
@b45666 are your deploy and retract filenames sys/deployprobe.g and sys/retractprobe.g ? You mention a different filename above.
-
@JoergS5 yes sir, deployprobe.g & retractprobe.g
-
@aidar changed P to 25 .. no change
no response to M401 / M402, although on the web interface it gives a check mark as sent -
If no response to M401/402, then check and doublecheck your servo signal wire connections - the one that is yellow or orange or similar and connected to Heater3 pin. Of course check all other connections to BLTouch as well. If you are using original cable, then its known as "not so good". I had similar problem with my first BLTouch, it was all about connections.

@aidar thank you so much .. bad connection .. solved & back in business
-
Glad you solved it.
