Solved Airduct for mosquto hotend

Hey guys
Im installing a mosquito mega hotend
Since i intend to run some part at extreme temperatures i will need to print cooling ducts
With filament that can withstand prolonged radiant
Heat... can you guys suggest a filament that would suit my high heat requirements and then some??
Im also interested in an stl file with the ducts
Maybe somthing on thingavers i have the slice engineering one ....but still looking
Gonna make silacone socks to insulate the heat block havent seen one made yet, but have found a mold. If you know who has them already made that would save the trouble......any advice would be appreciated..Thanks Ed -
@ziggymanpopo how hot do you intend to heat your enclosure? That will help with answering it. Also, I caught wind that Slice has just introduced a liquid cooled hot end, but I haven't looked into it..

I was an electrical contractor so i would heat it to what ever temp the manufacturer would recommend and power wise, i can accommodate temperatures that spontaneously combust if nessicary lol definatly have the enclosure to deal with yet. I've started to collect the components to build it,,, thats next

My build pkate is 500x500..have to build it costom

ABS is our go-to filament and I trust it up to ~90c. We heat our enclosures to 70c. Check out https://www.3dxtech.com/ - they list the glass transition temps of all their filaments. That should give you an good idea of what you need to use based on the temps you want to achieve.

Thank you
so much to learn cheesy grin -
@ziggymanpopo I do want to mention that we use Slice Magnums and Bondtech extruders. The rest of our toolhead is printed in ABS. With a proper cooling fan, nothing other than the actual hot end is getting above 80-90c when printing at ~250c.

@ziggymanpopo For materials I would recomment PA12+CF or PA12+GF.
Fiberlogy PA12+CF15 can work in 160C, and Fiberflogy PA12+GF15 can withstand up to 170C. If You need higher, I think PEEK or metal cooling tusks is an option.

ABS works ok-ish in 70C enclosure, I normally had to reprint the ABS parts operating inside enclosure once every few months (3+), especially the fan duct as 70C enclosure and 270C heat block near the fan duct make fan duct deform after ~1-3 months (depending on how much you print). PETG could not withstand nearly as long as ABS, HIPS was also worse than ABS, I have not tried printing it out of ASA, PC, PA ... I assume PC would work best but never tried as the ducts I was using required support and crazy overhangs I never was able to print with PC reliably.
I'm not sure how well you will be able to cool the mosquito inside enclosure with 70C air, you might want to bring in the outside air to cool it down or use water, I know slice guy's talked about a water cooling adapter for it, dunno if they have one on offer already. (I used water cooling for hotend on mine 70C enclosure printer)

ABS seems to tolerate "warmer" heatbreaks (and warmer extruder gears!) than other materials, squirts out of Mosquito hotends just fine in chambers ~65°C, although I have replaced the stock fans with nicer Sunon fans. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/sunon-fans/MF25101V2-1000U-A99/7805272

@sebkritikel nice they got that to the public was not available last time I checked but they talked about it.
ABS has higher Tg so it will work ok with hotter heatbreak but it requires a lot more pressure to extrude and tends to slip from time to time during long prints making extrusion inconsistent, at least in my experience, that's why cooling the heatbreak with outside air or water is imho good idea. I originally just had v6 with air but when I started having issues after 40-50hours of print I moved to outside air and it worked awesome but I had some other issues with it (too much too big hozes) so I moved to water and that was superb + I watercooled the motors too and got system to a much more stable state.
I love sunon but never tried the vapo-bearings in the heated env, no clue how well they perform so I'd appreciate any info you can share (in normal env. they are much quieter than regular, and just tad more loud than maglev)
@ziggymanpopo note that my exp in chamber is with e3dv6 and not with mosquito!!!! mosquito is newer design and might handle this better inside heated chamber, but these solutions that work for e3dv6 would for sure work with mosquito, just might not be required

Both Sunon Vapo-Bearing and CUI omniCOOL (similar, although I'm sure not exactly the same) are often both rated to 70°C, though you should always check the rating on the specific fan.

Thanks for the input guys,,, i had not thought about some of these things like temp limitations of fans .
