accuracy of multiple motors on single axis Y and Z

I'm wondering what the accuracy of multiple motors on a single axis is? Right now I'm building a printer that has a 4 lead screws on the Z-axis and 2 lead screws on the Y-axis. I'd like to use a single endstop for the Y-axis for the individual motors corresponding to the Y-axis lead screws and a z probe for the two seperate motors for the Z-axis corresponding to the 2 pair of lead screws on the Z (total 4). The Z-axis doesn't have a endstop, I just have the z probe which is connected to a tool board and is only used for homing Z. Also is there more adjusting than there would be if you just had one motor for each axis or is it the same? Yes that link you posted is exactly what you need for leveling the Z axis with the probe.
For the Y axis using a single endstop will be a little problematic due to the motors getting out of sync over time, usually during power cycles when the motors could snap to a full step in opposite directions. Using two endstops on Y would be a good idea, or if the kinematics is suitable you could use stall detection on Y to get them synced. This is all a bit easier in RRF3. That link you included also describes leveling using multiple endstops.
