small change, restart board and now no connection?
-
Printer was working fine, but I was tweaking the motor
I was adjusting setting to the Stepper motor setting.. I changed
M569 P1 S0 to M569 P1 S1
saved then reset..
and now wifi isnt flashing anymore. not even trying to connect..feeling very frustrated at the moment.

Hi,
Best thing to do at this point is post your config.g file

If you're still unable to connect to the wifi after a couple reboots you'll have to connect it to USB terminal (unless you have a Paneldue to use) and see what the firmware is doing when you send M552 S1.
If you're still having problems then, post your config.g and the results of M122 here.

The Config.g file was blank.. I copied over the backup and now it boots again..
Why would it erase it
-
SD card failing perhaps?

Occam's Razor would suggest that some sort of user error was the cause.
Then again it might be a firmware bug.

I was just using webcontrol, typed a change.. hit save.. it asked me if i wanted to restart.. i said yes and then it didnt restart.. not sure what I could have done differently..
The MicroSD card is only 6 months old and Sandisk brand.
be surprised if this is faulty -

be surprised if this is faultyHad the SD card failed in someway I could see the file being gone or corrupt but not perfectly fine yet blank.
So if no user error then were back to a firmware issue I guess.

Thanks. Hopefully just a one off. First report I've seen of this. If it happens again do let us know.
