tool 2 extruder motor will not turn
-
I am running Duet 3 with Paneldue and DWC. I have set up 2 extruders. Tool 0 and Tool 1. Tool 0 always turns and tool 1 never turns even when tool 1 is selected in DWC. Any ideas?
Thanks

If you still have access to DWC. Upload this zip file in the system tab. Don't extract them. Reboot after. Use M115 to verify the firmware has been applied.
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.2.2/Duet2and3Firmware-3.2.2.zip
That will get your firmware and DWC up to date.
Then we shall see about the pin errors.

My extruders are on a test stand. On my M584 line when I switch the position of my E drives, drive 0.5 works and drive 0.4 does not.

G10 P1 X10 Y0 Z0
G10 P1 R0 S0 ; set initial tool 1 active and standby temperatures to 0CThe extruders aren't working because the tools have the wrong numbers for the drives. Instead of D0.4 and D0.5 it should just be D0 and D1 for the first two extruder drives. You've used the driver addresses.

Error: Pin 'out4' is not free
Error: Fan number 0 not found
Error: Pin 'out5' is not free
Error: Fan number 1 not foundThis is because you're trying to use out4 and out5 as heaters, and then also trying to use them as fans. What do you actually have connected where?

Problem solved, the D0 D1 solved it. Thank you very much. You have saved me a lot of time and effort.
