Part cooling fan stays on during bed heater tuning
-
Part way through the M303 H0 P1 S70 heater tuning process, it reports "Starting Phase 4 with fan off", but the fan (which turned on at the expected bed temperature) did not turn off. I confirmed that I can manually control the bed fan. Anyone know why? In normal operation it's not an issue, but I'd like to understand in case I've goofed in a way that can affect other things.
Pertinent config.g code:
; Bed heater and sensor
M308 S0 P"temp0" Y"thermistor" A"Bed temp" L0 H25 ; define bed temperature sensorM950 H0 Q10 C"out1" T0 ; create bed heater output on out0 and map it to sensor 0
M307 H0 B0 R0.394 C847.1 D16.26 S1.00 V26.6 ; set PID constants (from autotune, M303)
M140 H0 ; map heated bed to heater 0
M143 H0 S100 ; set temperature limit for heater 0 to 100C
M950 F0 C"out7" Q500 ; part cooling fan 0 on out7, pwm
M106 P0 T55:60 H0 C"Part Fan" ; fan 0 0% at 55C, 100% at 60C

@kb58 yes, as that message isn't meant for beds.
the bed tuning uses the same algorithm as the hotend tuning, hence why its there. just ignore it -
@jay_s_uk Ah! Didn't think of that. Thank you very much for clearing that up... and maybe I should rerun it, but not unplug the fan this time

Your part cooling fan comes on when the bed heats up?

@phaedrux Yes

But why?
