3.4-Beta2 Maestro Install Error
-
When I click to install the Maestro 3.4 Beta 2 firmware, after already upgrading DWC, I get the following error:
Error: M997: In-application programming binary "0:/firmware/Duet2_SDiap32_Maestro.bin" not found
I can't find mention of this file on the repository.

Do you have that file in your /sys folder from the previous version? If so, can you copy it to the /firmware folder and try again? Since 3.3 it looks for bin files in the /firmware folder. I'm thinking it just didn't make it's way over there yet and you'll have to manually place it.

@ccs86
I fell into the same trap when updating to 3.3b2 and did what phaedrux said. There were still a few more files I didn't dare to delete in /sys folder.
I also felt a bit lost, regarding upgrade instructions. Especially the /firmware folder thing wasn't documented well IMHO -
@ccs86 if you were not running any 3.3beta versions, then the first time you upgrade from 3.3 you need to upload the Duet2_SDiap32_Maestro.bin again. After that, the upgrade should work. You can find that file in the 3.3 release.

Weird, it looks like I had manually uploaded that file for 3.2-RC2. Then I went to 3.2-release, 3.3-release.
I must have been tired last night.
