independent_Z_motors
hi thanks for helping me !
the Ender 5 have only one Z_motor how i make it run with one motor for Z ?
because the documention is for 2 Z and up
-
@luigello If you enter
g32
In the console, does the printer move to all 4 edges?
If yes, have you inserted thisG29 S1
In your slicer start g.code? This is to load the high map

bed.g
; bed.g ; called to perform automatic bed compensation via G32 ; ; generated by RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool v3.3.2 on Mon Sep 13 2021 10:17:49 GMT+0200 (Mitteleuropäische Sommerzeit) M561 ; clear any bed transform G29 ; probe the bed and enable compensation
it will check all the bed not the 4 Edges
-
@luigello in this case is it right. In your first posting, you had another bed.g file posted.
If you now put the M29 S1 in your start g-code (this will load the bed level data) should the bed leveling work -

and how i make my bed flat ?
If your bed has leveling adjustment screws you can use this to have the Duet tell you how much you need to adjust them: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Using_the_manual_bed_levelling_assistant
Or you can just use G29 and mesh compensation to let the firmware raise and lower the Z as needed. Either way, G29 will create and display the heightmap so you can see how tilted it actually is.

thank you !
; Axis Limits M208 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; Set axis minima M208 X235 Y235 Z300 S0 ; Set axis maxima
G31 P500 X41.2 Y4.5 Z1.138 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
How can i can calculate my Mesh grid ?
-
Think of the grid as needing to be all the places where the probe can physically reach. So jog your nozzle around such that the probe is inside the bed area and make note of the extents. That's your max grid size.
Or just specify the max bed size as the grid and the firmware will skip any points it can't reach automatically.

i have made a picture of it
