Unable to create a new file in /sys/ to set up resume
-
I have a Duet Maestro 1.0
Firmware 2.01(RTOS) (2018-07-26b2)
Web Interface Version: 1.22.3Per this page:
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Setting_up_to_resume_a_print_after_a_power_failureI try to make a resurrect-prologue.g from Settings->System Editor but it never seems to save, it disappears.
Example save notification for a dummy test file but I can't find the file afterwards, it doesn't show up in the folder file listing.
"The file 0:/sys/test.g has been successfully uploaded."
I'm pretty sure I've been able to create new files here before.

Have you tried pressing the Refresh button on the System Editor page after saving the new file? I think you need to do that to make the new file appear in the listing, unless you are using the latest version of DWC.

I’ve pressed refresh a few times, as much as one test file each. This wasn’t a problem a week ago.

Do you have a large number of files in the /sys folder? There is a limit to how many can be displayed using firmware 2.01 and DWC 1.22.3 (same as with the /gcodes folder). Upgrading to a 2.02RC version and DWC 1.22.5 fixes that.

@dc42 Yes, there are a lot of files in /sys/. It’s largely the SD card provided by M3D, with settings adapted to my machine. I had thought about looking up what files are really necessary for my machine and archiving the rest.
