PanelDue Style CSS
-
Is there a way to change the look/colours of the PanelDue/Web Menu Menu & Buttons by altering a CSS Style sheet or something
-
The web interface can be altered with CSS, PanelDue is more complex as it's compiled-David will be able to expand.

If you compile the PanelDue firmware yourself, changing the text, background and border colours is easy. They are all in a table, to facilitate switching between the standard and dark themes. The more difficult part is that you need to change the colours of the icons to match the colour scheme. In the next firmware release I intend to use a colour pallette when rendering the icons, so I can use one set of icons for both schemes.

Hi, how to compile the firmware? I have ordered one paneldue and I dont like the interface, the paneldue looks ok but the interface does not, I am a web designer/front-end developer so I like to style things to my liking

Please consider sharing your results!
For paneldue specifically, one of the best ways to do that is to "fork" the github, and when you feel you have something you like, tell us all (here on the forum) where the fork is located.

@danal Hi, I definitely will, but I am waiting for my panel to get to me, and then I will start digging into the firmware, btw if someone would know where are the variables and UI things defined I would be happy if you would tell me
