I have my Duet 2 wifi connected to my Ender three with a micro swiss hotend. In the web application the hotend temp is reading in the 1100c range, but not heating. I am using the stock heater and a new thermistor which I believe are connected properly. I put a continuity check on both the heater and the therm and there seems to be continuity through the piece.

Short of replacing it, are there any suggestions to try?!

      Thanks,

      Pat

Have you configured your thermistor in config.g? You need to set the parameters for it to measure correctly.

That's exactly what a robot would say. 😒

Again, this is for an Ender 3 and the type of thermistor is: 3D Printer Thermistor NTC 100K ohm 5pcs for mk7 mk8 Nozzle and Heated Bed for Creality CR-10 CR-10S Ender 3 Eewolf (From Amazon)

Here is what my config.g reads:

                  ; Heaters
                  M305 P0 T100000 B4138 C0 R4700 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 0
                  M143 H0 S120 ; Set temperature limit for heater 0 to 120C
                  M305 P1 T100000 B4138 C0 R4700 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1
                  M143 H1 S280 ; Set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280C

I'm not sure what some of these numbers mean?

the ender 3 uses epocs 100k thermistors for the bed and hotend.
