E3D bed in 240v
-
- Hello everyone...
I would like to know if people use the E3D bed in 240v "300X300".
I have installed the latter without any problems and it works rather well ... But the temperature remains unstable and I can not do a Pid Tuning to enter the settings that go well! Who would have a command to make this setting and / or include it? By the way, I just saw that E3D no longer has this bed for sale on its website, do you know if it is breaking or if the bed was removed from the sale for a technical reason ...
Thank you !Sorry for my English, I do not master it ...

Double check all joints in the thermistor/thermocouple wiring. Make sure the heated bed is still firmly attached to the heat spreader/build surface and finally make sure you can't cause temperature spikes in the bed temp reading by flexing the wires gently.
If all that is ok then drop E3D an email decsribing your difficulties and see what they have to say.

Thanks for your advices...
I just checked what you told me ... and nothing suspicious!
I may have expressed myself poorly. I wanted to say that my warm bed without problem and hold the heater, except that if for example I set the heater to 65 °, the indication of my PanelDue oscillates to 65.1 °, 65.2 °, 65.3 °, 65.4 ° and goes down to 65 ° and so on without stabilizing.
So I'm looking for how to find the command M305 of my tray (example for my HotEnd: M305 P1 T100000 B4725 C7.06e-8).

Sounds like the heater may need tuning.
Double check your thermistor settings then run an autotune.

I followed the procedure indicated above ... Unfortunately, now the temperature oscillates between -8 ° C and + 8 ° C above the heating value! Maybe I miss the value of the bed probe (M305)?
I just sent an email to ED3, we'll see!

Can you provide a link to the exact E3D bed you're referring to?

The problem is that the bed disappeared from the sale on the site E3D ... There were more models in dimension of 200x200 to 300x300 as well as in power supply from 12 v to 240 v (mine is a 300x300 240V) I make you follow a link that details his installation and a picture of my bed, I did not find anything else!

Increase the D parameter in the M307 H0 command that resulted from tuning the heater. Also, please post the M307 values here so that we can see whether they look reasonable.

Here,
In: config-override.g
M307 H0 A90.0 C700.0 D10.0 S1.00 V0.0 B1
Maybe it's more stable if I put the bed in B0?
- And what I find strange in my config.g ... I have 2 orders of which I do not know ...
The first one I uncommented
; Heaters
M307 H0 B0 S1.00; Disable bang-bang mode for the heater and set PWM limit
- The second that I can not uncomment, otherwise my BLTouch no longer deploys?
; Z-Probe
M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1 -
None of those M307 commands resulted from heater tuning. The M307 H0 command in config-override.g shows the default heater parameters. The M307 H0 command in config.g just enabled PID mode, but without setting the model parameters. The M307 H3 command is for BLTouch, it makes the Heater 3 parameter available for use as the BLTouch control pin.
So your heater is not tuned. I suggest you re-run tuning. Check that it succeeds, then use one of the two listed methods of saving the model parameters, depending on whether you are using config-override.g or not.

I use PT100_DaughterBoard and
Pt100 with keenovo 220 V 750w 300X300
here is my setting for heaters maybe it can help you; Heaters
M305 P0 x200 S"bed_1" ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1(bed_sensor)
M143 H0 S120 ; Set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280C
M305 P1 T100000 B4138 R4700 ; Set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1(tool_sensor)
M143 H1 S280 ; Set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280CM305 P102 X201 S"bed_2"

Thank you all, for your help my problem is now solved ...
I did not read the instructions
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Tuning_the_heater_temperature_control
I admit that my shortcomings in English do not always help me in the finer points of the recommendations.I preferred to go on manual procedure in config.g by building my chain that here:
And according to the tests I have already done, my temperatures stabilize quickly by oscillating from time to time of (+/-) 0.1 ° C which seems normal to me.
Regarding the M307 Hx values that are in config-override.g I can delete them or just put a (;) before history have a clean file?

If you have the M307 values from the tuning in your config.g file then you don't need the config-override. If you miss (or don't have) the M501 from the end of your config.g then the values in the config-override won't be used.
