Organizing Macros
-
I am trying to shuffle my various macros around to get a menu system that works for me.
I can upload a macro with the provided button but there is no 'download macro' button which is kinda odd.
I am trying to move some macros from one branch of the macro tree to another branch and there doesn't seem to be any direct way of doing this. The drag and drop functionality doesn't seem to allow moving a menu (or macro) to a different branch of the macro tree. I have a menu item to adjust probe sensitivity and there are 20 or so one liner macros in that menu - do I need to open each, copy the content and make a new macro where it is supposed to go and paste the content of each individual macro? <shudder> -
Is there a way to directly move files someplace in the Duet file structure ?

@jens55 in DWC if you right click on the macro you should get the download facility!!

Doooohhhhh ... found it, never mind .... move along, nothing to see here ....

You may want to try using an FTP program to interface with the Duet file structure. It can make it easier to sync a large number of macros and folder structures.

You might also find the RepRapFirmware FileManager by wilriker a great help.
