Manual bed probing at print, don't want that.
-
Hi,
I just got my TronXY X5SA converted over to the Duet Wifi. Everything is moving and working as expected. I got auto bed leveling set up and a Z-Offset macro working. When I try to print a file, I get into a manual bed leveling routine. When I turn on the printer, I home, do a Z-Offset, then do a bed mesh ( G29 ). But still, when I try to print, I goes into a manual bed probing routine.
Why is it doing that?
Thanks
Joel

Post your config file, your homing files, and your slicer start gcode so we can see what's actually going on when a print is started.

I removed most things from my slicer startup. Right now it's G28, G1 E8.
Attached are the config.g and the macros I'm using to set the Z Offset. For bed mesh, I have a macro that just sends G28 followed by G29. I noticed in some cases, I seem to loose the Z homing. -
What's in homeall.g? What firmware?

Instead of using M208 to allow movement below 0 you should use M564 S0/S1

You set manual bed probing in your Z offset macro with M558 P0, but you never switch back to your other probe type in the macro.

From what I have been seeing, that makes sense. I will fix the z offset macro and see what happens.
Thanks!

I fixed the Z Offset macro this morning and now everything is working fine.
I was able to do a print as expected. Now to fine tune a few other things.
Thanks Again!!
