BLTouch Triggering immediately after G30 is run.
-
Hey guys, I went to fire up my printer today, and now all of a sudden I cannot get the machine to Zhome because my bltouch is firing immediately as Zhome Code starts. Here is my Gcode for Zhome.
G90 ; absolute positioning G1 X115 Y115 F4000 ; Move x and Y axis over to bed center so probe is on top of bed M558 A1 F400 ; Set single probing at faster feed rate G30 ; Do a single probe to home our Z axis M558 A3 F100 ; Set tripple probing at slower feed rate G30 ; Probe again to get a more accurate position ; Uncomment the following lines to lift Z after probing G91 ; relative positioning G1 H2 Z5 F100 ; lift Z relative to current position G90 ; absolute positioning
The only thing I changed from yesterday is I swapped out the nozzle. I've checked for wire continuity, its all connected. Im just super confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is my config file as well:

Well consider you haven't changed any configuration, but you have changed a nozzle recently, I'm inclined to think that there is perhaps either something blocking the pin now, or a wire has been damaged.
Take a very close look at the pin.
Can you manually deploy and retract the pin with M401 and M402?
What happens if you send the gcode to put the BLTouch into self-test mode?

Hey! thanks for the response! The pin does come out and retract, and the self test works fine. Im going to swap back to the old nozzle and see if i notice anything, but im really not sure. I switched from a cheap Chinese brass nozzle to a nice Stainless steel one, and i couldnt imagine that that would actually be the cause.

Well, indirectly. Nozzle tips vary in height. Maybe you should re-adjust the height of your BLtouch as well as the probing offset? Just the complete calibration for Z
