External stepper motor on Duex 5 GPIO port.
-
I want to add 1 more external stepper motor with of course stepper motor driver to Duex 5 GPIO port. Then control stepper motor position with gcode.
Is this possible to do it?

If the pins that you use are labeled "step" and "dir" for a driver that you are not already using elsewhere, yes.
Any old IO pin, no.

@daxzero, are you aware that there are 2 sets of step/dir/enable pins on the CONN_LCD connector?

yes, but i used it for this setup >>> duet 2 wifi + duex 5 + PanelDue 7i
im gonna used all the stepper driver and motors >>> duet 2 wifi + duex 5... total is 10... and i want to add 1 more stepper drivers and motors on to GPIO.

So use the CONN_LCD connector. It's not used by PanelDue. https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Using_external_stepper_motor_drivers
