-
I'm using:
FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 2.03 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later FIRMWARE_DATE: 2019-06-13b2
This is the default status of the board as purchased.what works:
I have successfully connected to the wifi on my mobile phoneM587
Remembered networks:
Nielson IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0
Jeff mobile IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0
M552 S1
ok
WiFi module is connected to access point Jeff mobile, IP address 192.168.43.204what fails
I can't get it to connect to my Nielson router, which is my main home wifi
The best it can give me is:
WiFi reported error: no known networks foundquestions
- How can a get more specific debug info?

Sounds like the network name, or key is wrong, or possibly not a2.4ghz network?
not sure you'll get more debug info but you can try

@bearer Thank you. It showed me that access point was out of range. It was only seeing one that had a stronger signal.
Also, I had updated the firmware in the meantime since it wouldn't work as an accesspoint either. So, there were 2 problems. Appreciate your help.

I wonder if it is an issue some people from my work are having trying to remote connect to work? The VPN we use only supports IPV4 which is a normal style ip address like you listed above but some people with new comcast modems/routers only support the newer IPV6 addressing and my work's VPN does not support IPV6.
If that's the case you may need to get some sort of wifi extender that will provide an ipv4 address for the duet to use.
Just a thought I'm throwing out there.

OT; but the solution lies in a tunnel broker outside the home network. (well, i suppose the tunnel has to originate in the home network, but the service is provided outside). Generally referred to as 4in6 or details laid out in https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2473 , sadly I live in the internet dark ages and have no practical experience with it so can't offer any practical advice.
