Monitoring 20 thermistor channels with a Duet [Solved]

I have a unique 3D printer in which I need the ability to measure temperatures at many locations (heat sinks, motors, and at multiple locations on the hotend). Can someone recommend a Duet hardware solution that will allow me to best monitor up to 20 independent thermistors?
I am currently using a Duet 2 Wifi v1.04a with all of the temperature channels maxed out. FW3.01-RC10, Duet WiFi sever 1.23, Duet Web Control 2.0.4

I'm not sure of the limits off the top of my head, but I think Duet 3 with expansion boards might get you close. That's a lot of thermistor channels.

RRF for Duet 3 supports up to 56 sensor channels total. RRF for Duet 2 supports up to 32.
With Duet 3 and standard components, if you use a mixture of thermistors and PT100 sensors you could have 4 thermistors and 4 PT100 on the main board, and 3 thermistors and 4 PT100 on each EXP3HC board. Alternatively (and less expensive unless you need the other features of expansion boards) you could do a custom build of the SammyC21 firmware to support about 8 thermistors, then use 2 or 3 SammyC21 boards plus the Duet 3 main board.
Another option might be to make a custom SPI daughter board using the MCP3208 ADC to support 8 thermistors, but this would involve more hardware and firmware development.
