Warning: motor phase may be disconnected
-
Let me describe the whole story. A Duet 2 Wifi with defective motor driver 1 has appeared in my hands. The driver was really hot even when the printer was idling. There was no reaction when I tried to command it too. I remapped the Y driver to physical driver 4 by M584 X0 Y4 Z2 E3 command to be sure that it works before physical removal of this driver.
Now the driver is desoldered and short-to-ground error on driver 1 appeared. I added M569 P1 R-1 gcode to the config.g file to suppress that error messages and tried G28. Since that time I am receiving warning about motor phases of all 3 motion motors and the motors are not moving at all. I haven't changed wiring of the motors since initial crimping but I've double check phases order and it looks correct.config.g

I am running out of ideas what can be wrong but it should be working at least based on threads:

all 3, not all 4?
if you have a solder bridge on the pads of the removed driver it could affect the SPI bus causing all drivers to (seemingly) report errors
-
Actually I believe that I've asked by G28 command just 3 drivers to do something and the 4th one is idling. Extruder driver doesn't perform any task within homing so I expect that this is a normal behaviour.
Including motor params marked by red color.
Warning: motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 0 2 4 Warning: motor phase B may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 0 2 4
Frankly speaking there is no visible shorten pad anywhere on the board. That was my first guess when I've seen the issue.

i thought a spi issue would give the same error on all even if not idle, but I can't test it atm.
but if you turn on the hotend and extrude a tiny amount before trying homing you can see wheater or not it all drivers or all but E0
