Must i use a paneldue touchscreen?
-
I have been thinking of converting my printer to use a
duet 2 wifi a "real" one:) but would like to be able to save
some money if possible. Is it possible to use a Android tablet in place? I have read that my 12684 LCD cannot be used so
I was hoping to use my 7inch fire tablet.
Is it possible? Thank you for reading and i look forward to hear back. Thank you. -
Hi,
You don't need a PanelDue if you can invoke the Duet Web Interface in your tablet.
There is also this which may be of interest:

I have read that my 12684 LCD cannot be used so
double check with driver is in use on the lcd as not all are supported in all versions of rrf. there is a lengthy thread on here where it starts off supporting one type, ending up supporting the other.
