I have a really heavy bed, 6mm mic6 aluminum, and the lead screws have a very shallow angle. 3 x Z motors

I keep bending lead screws and/or damaging my carriage when accidents happen.

The problem I'm having is if I reduce the current, the bed can't move reliably, but as soon as there is enough current, it's crazy strong.

Between stall detection, current tweaking, and anything else, can anyone provide any guidance?

To help prevent false stalls at low motor current you can try to reduce motor acceleration and jerk. That may get you more reliable movement with low current, but still allow for stalling when there is a blockage.

Also, if you've already bent the lead screws binding will be an issue.

add an endstop at the top of your bed and create the emergeny shutdown trigger

so that when the bed goes past the save area but before it starts bending everything is shut down.

@Veti not a bad idea. I'll have to put 3 emergencies in there since there are 3 z towers, but yeah.
