Basic G29 / Heightmap Questions
-
Hello,
I have some basic questions regarding the G29 Althought i am quite experienced with RRF I have no answer for it
-
Does the Meshbed extrapolate outside of the probing area? For example if i probe with R120 on a R180 bed.
-
Are there options to change the calculation like in marlin?
Experimental Subdivision of the grid by Catmull-Rom method.

Regarding the heightmap viewer is it possible to set the origin in the middle and even if i probe the left front edge the heightmap starts not there. Clearly a cosmetical issue.
Thanks

its not a cosmetical issue, as the dots with its coordinates would not match with the actual coordinates.

I'm told it does. To what extent I'm not sure.

That's interesting, but to what end?

I suppose it could. I think the main reason for the XYZ coordinate lines there is to orient you to what's being displayed. The exact placement isn't necessarily intended to match your specific setup.
However, given the coming plugin framework, there's nothing stopping someone from creating a more refined and complex height map viewer.
