ir sensor on toolboard?

In the tool-board wiki it says z-probes types supported are only 8 and 9.
Contradictory to that in the ir sensor wiki, connection to a tool board is mentioned. Does anyone know what the status of using the dc42 ir probe on the tool-board is?

can you link the passage that you are referring to?

That just means you'd use the ir probe in digital mode, ie mode 8.

I use the IR probe on a toolboard in mode 8, and it works fine.

I did not realize there was a digital mode, thanks for the clarification! About to get one going.
