I am reading through the 1LC wiki and I am not entirely clear on how to wire 2 wire fans.
I will be using OUT1 and OUT2 for the 24V fans. Vin is 24V and the jumper to make Vout=Vin is installed.
Am I correct in connecting the positive fan wire to +VOut and the negative fan wires to out1 and out2 respectively?
I have blown up enough fans by plugging them in wrong that I figure I should better verify ....

      Thanks

@jens55 connect the positive wire to the VOUT pin of your chosen OUT port. As it's a 2-wire, connect the negative fan wire to OUTn_NEG pin of the same connector (n is the OUT port number).

          Thanks dc42,
According to https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_3_Tool_Board, there is no such terminal as OUTn_NEG. There is only OUTn.
I am assuming that both are the same but my point is that there is an element of guessing here.

@jens55 The documentation is referring to the output ports, named OUTn. Each port has two pins: VOUT and OUTn_NEG.

@jens55 OUTn_NEG is the silkscreen name on the back of the PCB, see https://d17kynu4zpq5hy.cloudfront.net/igi/duet3d/JY4Zbq4M5BEIuxcq . It’s the same as out[n], which is the RRF pin name. The wiring diagram has the RRF pin name indicating the pin.
