      After the last web page maintenance window, there is a new entry field that shows up. There is no explanation anywhere. Anybody know what this change is about?
      The new field is just to the right of the "All Categories" label in this screen shot.

          @jens55 It's the 'Mark as read' button when in the 'unread' category. When you click on it, it offers you the option of what to mark as read, ie selected posts (click on the post's icon first), all, or a specific category. I get:

          Clicking on 'Mark as Read' gives the drop down menu you see:

            @t3p3tony thanks you were correct ... although I have no idea why some bright spark decided that this was a feature that was absolutely positively needed.
            <shrug>
