Hi everyone first time posting here, my group and I are working on a capstone project for making a 3d printer head for a robotic arm.

The issue we ran into was getting the raspberry pi communicate with the kuka robot controller. The proposed solutions was using an Allen Bradley PLC but right now we are trying to research a method to get the two communicating and was wondering:

      1. If anyone has any experience with this or if this is even possible?
      2. Would using raspberry pi still be better than a plc?
      3. Any alternative to this?
      4. Also I was looking through the wiring diagram and wanted to confirm if there are any GPIOs available at all on the board?

Sorry theres a lot but thank you in advanced.
