Question about updating with BIN files

Hi,

It's been a long while since I had to update firmware using BIN files.

I see there is a 3.4.1 RC2 now out. Pros/Cons to updating to it from 3.4.0?

I've got 3.4.0 on a machine with a 6HC and a 3HC:

• is there an order that I should observe when uploading/applying the respective BIN files?

I've got 3.4.0 on a machine with a Duet 2 WiFi:

• is uploading/applying the Duet2CombinedFirmware.bin all that is needed?

I've got 3.4.0 on a machine with a Duet 3 Mini:

• is uploading/applying the Duet3Firmware_Mini5plus.uf2 all that is needed?

You'd also want to upload the DWC zip file along with the bin.

OK I've got that file as well.

What about the question regards the 6HC with 3HC machine? Is there an certain order to be followed?

Not really. If you upload them all together DWC will take care of the rest. But do check the versions afterwards to make sure all updates were successfully applied.
