Warning: Cannot Initialize SD Card 0: Card is Unusable
I am currently trying to set up my Duet 2 3d to run my Ceramic 3d printer and I am continuing to get an error after trying to connect my power source. I had everything working just fine: it was generating its own access point and everything then suddenly, I was unable to get a signal and started getting an error I had never seen before that wont even let me turn the wifi module on. I have tried an M122 reboot and that did not seemingly do anything. Is there anything else I could do to remedy this? Or is my chip truly dead ? any advice is appreciated! thank you
all the best,
Error: failed to initialise WiFi module: SPI timeout
@mfertik have you tried replacing the SD card?
@dc42 I did try this first with my professors card, then with a fresh one and got the same message.
Can you try sending these commands?
And report back with what you get.
just tried these and here is the error message I got
Can you take a photo of the solder points around the SD card?
Is this a brand new board? Or has it been working previously?
@phaedrux It is a brand new board, I purchased it from MatterHackers about a week ago. I will send a pic
Are you able to view the contents of the original SD card on a PC?
@phaedrux yes, here is what I'm seeing
@phaedrux Full disclosure: i really need this printer to work before the end of this summer for my ceramic 3d printer project for school. i have spent so much time troubleshooting this board and I was so close before it stopped working. I was told I need approval from the forum to get it exchanged. Does it seem like something fixable or will I need a new board? Apologies for my directness im just in a bit of a time crunch. Again, I really appreciate all of the help
