Hi, I have updated the Duet 3 6HC firmware according to insructions via Ethernet. Since the update I cannot connect to my Duet 3 board. When I plug it in windows can not recognize it. I tried to erease it with jumper, but had no luck.

      The LEDs:
      -USB birght and red
      -STATUS very dim
      -3.3v bright and green
      -5v bright and red

I have no PI board to connect to it. Only PC at hand.

Any suggestions how can I fix this?

@kjanusko if the status LED is very dim then the board is not running firmware. Connect it to a PC via USB and the Bossa port should appear, in Device Manager if you are running Windows. You may need to try several different USB cables and/or USB ports on your PC.

@dc42 In the mean time I tried to change the USB, downloaded Bossa, and I was able to erease and write the firmware. It works now! Thank you very much! 🙂

@kjanusko I'm glad you got it working. Just occasionally the usual update process on the 6HC seems to fail, leaving the firmware erased. We don't yet know why because it's not something we can reproduce.
