Software bundle 3.4.4 released
-
On behalf of the Duet3D team I am please to announce the release of software bundle 3.4.4. As usual, users of Duet with attached Single Board Computer can upgrade from the Duet3D package server using the appropriate Linux commands. Users of Duets in standalone mode can find the files at https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.4.4.
The changes are minor, so upgrading from release 3.4.3 is not necessary if you are not affected by any of the issues fixed in this release, listed in the release notes. There are no changes to the expansion board firmware apart from the version number, and no change to the WiFi firmware.

@dc42 I just upgraded from 3.4.0 to 3.4.4 on my Duet 2 Wifi with Duex5. I lost my ability to control my Duex5 fan speed control. It was:
M950 F5 C"duex.fan5" Q500
M106 P5 S0.7 H1 T10It's always at 100% now. Any ideas? I can change the max speed X0.7 and that works but not the S0.7.

@jengelking82 are you certain that the behaviour change was caused by the firmware upgrade? I can't think of any intentional changes to the behaviour of fans on Duet 2 between those versions. You may wish to downgrade back to 3.4.0 to check whether it still works in that version. If it does, please start a new thread and include your config.g file in your post.
