Is there any way to do this while it's already printing? I tried pressing the Z+1 (+ is down in my case) button in Machine Control, but on the next line the head moves back up again...

Is there a way to give it just a 1mm offset and have it keep? I tried tightening bed screws as far as they can go, with some success, but still have the printer nozzle embedded deep in each layer...

Alternatively, would I just turn the extrusion multiplier down temporarily?

Baby stepping from DWC will do it but in smaller steps so you'll haver to press it a few times if you really want t change it by 1mm.
