ZEndstop vs Zprobe
Nxt-1 last edited by
I have been using a set of FSR's connected to JohnSL's board, in turn connected as a Z_Endstop on the Duet. I recently saw a couple off thread passing along with people using using their FSR's connected to the Z_probe input. The wiki mentions the Z-probe way as well.
Any specific advantage doing it either way?
It doesn't really matter, except that if you want to use your FSRs as a nozzle-contact Z probe then you need to set the P parameter in the M558 command correctly depending on where the FSRs are connected.
