Extruder motor beeping
-
Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange problem with my build. It was working fine before the holidays, but yesterday, when I tried to print, the secondary extruder didn't move and it beeps. I can feel it vibrating trying to move, but it does nothing. I changed the motor and the wires and the problem persists.
I have a duet wifi and I'm using a E3D chimera for the dual extrusion. I didn't change anything in the configuration of the duet. and the primary motor works with exactly the same configuration.
I have made a video describing the problem. Here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/vCYRTYJT3FWth6A9A.
I really hope you can help me. I have an urgent work and I really need to use the secondary extruder. Do you think that it is a problem with the board?Thank you for your help!

Vibration / audible noise typically means either only one coil is getting power (most often wiring/connector issue) or the motor is being commanded to do something it can't do (like spin too fast). Can you post your config.g and explain what you're doing to try to run the motor?
