Thermistor not registering
-
Hi I've set up a brand new duet wifi, with panel due, which is working well except it isn't registering a thermistor. I've tried it with confirmed working thermistors as well.
We don't actually need any heaters as it's a clay printer but the web interface crashes from errors when a thermistor isn't plugged in.I've had a look around but can't figure out what is wrong, any ideas on where to start?
Cheers,
Ryan

Please post your config.g file, also the error message from the web interface when it crashes.
What firmware and Duet Web Control versions are you using?
-
Firmware Version: 1.21 (2018-03-21)
Wifi Server Version: 1.21RC4(08b3)
Web Interface Version: 1.21-RC4
Duet Wifi Board Version : v1.03Config file: 0_1538886101714_config.g

You are using beta versions of DuetWiFiServer and Duet Web Control. You should not use beta versions after the corresponding full release has been made available. So please upgrade them. You may find that the release version of DWC doesn't produce the error.

I changed to this config file 0_1538900306921_config.g and the error disappears but the thermocouple still reads as 2000 degrees.
I'm using what was shipped with the board, but I'll upgrade.
Just to confirm that this: https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.01 is the latest stable version? -
Yes, 2.01 is the latest stable version. The 2.02RC2 version is also good except that a few users get spurious "Motor phase disconnected" messages, which are harmless but annoying.
You can also use the latest version of DWC (1.22.3) with main firmware 2.01 if you wish.
