LJ18A3-8-Z/BX capacitive sensor vs. Duet3D 2 Wifi

Hi all!

I'm puzzled about how to connect my capacitive sensor. I've read about connecting it to the Z-endstop, or to the Z-probe input. The power supply is a 24V one. How do I connect it to the Duet3D 2 Wifi?

At this moment I think I can connect like that:

+      => + 24V of the power supply
-      => - of the power supply
signal => Z-probe in

Without any diode or resistor. What do you think?
