Well by my standards none of the solder joints look as bright and shiny as I'd like. That said the motor driver pins don't look any different from the rest of the board. But I am getting old and my eyesight is not as good as it used to be
JPEG attached. Thanks for your help I really do like your products.

Thanks for the prompt response. I tend to not think of infant mortality after like 6 months but in hindsight you are correct since I print stuff but not constantly.
Attached is a picture of the board and my config.g file. I don't notice any one driver being a lot hotter than the others.
the error in the log is
"Warning: motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 2"
After the error occurred the first thing I assumed was the motor was bad so I tried it with a brand new motor and new cable (same error, no surprise given the results of the swap the cable test that I subsequently did but I just wanted you to know that I did try the bad driver with a new motor/cable as well.
If you need anything else just ask.
Thanks

Hi:
In January of this year I purchased a Duet 2 Wifi from Matterhackers and installed it in a Prusa I3 clone. I got it working in January I have not touched either the hardware or the software recently. It's been working great. Between the BLTouch and your bed leveling code it's been my best printer even better than my MK3-S. I'd estimate I have a few hundred hours of prints since January without any issues. A few days ago the Z-Axis broke mid print with Warning that Motor Phase A may be disconnected. I'm using Z to drive one Z motor and E1 to drive the other. I removed the X axis so both Z motors were free to move for further testing. One of the Z motors was no longer working properly when I used the GUI to move Z one of the motors would move properly and the other one would not and would again generate the disconnected Phase message. However when I simply swap Z and E1 the problem moves to the other motor. The motors are both fine, the cables are fine (no damage etc.). So from everything I can tell one of the motor drivers is no longer working properly on my 6 month old board. The printer is plugged into a UPS we have not had any lightning strikes, I have not physically touched the board or done anything to damage it ESD wise. It just died mid print. I'm really puzzled by this.
I love this product BTW I'm planning on using it for all my 3D printer builds. Please advise.
Thanks
