I could not fine an answer in my searches. After uploading a gcode file and start the print, do I still need the computer connect and running. Duet WiFi, firmware version 2.0.
Thanks,
Bill

RE: Fast Extruder
Thank you.
Before. Calculating the length of 0.4 mm of extrusion from 1.75 mm diameter and 100 mm in length ((1.75/2)^2/(.4/2)^2x100) or roughly 1914 mm or about 2 yds, but measuring would be. I just assumed if no leaks 100 mm displacement before the extruder would be 100 mm after and 100 mm at the nozzle.
Somehow it straighten it self out(I hate mysteries).
Again thank you and I am starting to enjoy the Duet WiFi. -
RE: Fast Extruder
It seems to have straighten itself out. I hate it when it does that for no known reason, but I glad it did it. Use it all day with no problems. Keeping fingers cross.

Fast Extruder
Installed Duet WiFi firmware version 2.0. After much trial and error, I have got everything working except printing. The problem one that has been reporter before; i.e., extruder to fast but extrusion amount OK (100 mm equals 100 mm extruded). Using Ideamaker which uses M82, so changed Config.g M83 to M82. Extrusion seemed faster the when config.g M83. Also changed both config.g and code file to M83. Again seemed even faster. Copy of config.g file:
