RE: Accidental short circuit
@Phaedrux It is broken indeed. As can be seen, this chip is burned. Unfortunately, I can't see what chip it is, I have included the second image for reference.

RE: Accidental short circuit
Thanks!
According to that page, most likely there is a short between the 3.3V power rail and ground. I went through all steps but, unfortunately, I still have the same problem as mentioned in my original post. -
Accidental short circuit
Hello!
For my project, I want to control a pressure regulator using PWM. During this process, I think I accidentally created a short circuit. I assume it happened whilst attaching the probes of an oscilloscope to one of the PWM/servos pins on the Duex.
Now, when I connect the Duet with my laptop, the LED between the USB connector and the reset button is permanently red. The 5V LED is first very bright and then slowly dims. The 3.3V LED is green for about a millisecond and then stops. When I plug the USB cable into my laptop (MacBook), I get a notification that I have to ‘unplug the device using too much power’.
Is there a way to check whether the Duet or the Duex is broken (or both) and how I can fix it? Thanks!
