I updated from ( I think rc6) to rc12 today. Did DWC to 2.1.7 and DuetCombined IAP as well.
The bed heater no longer is displayed in DWC or PanelDue, but M308 S0 yields,
      m308 s0
Sensor 0 type Thermistor using pin bedtemp, reading 19.1, last error: sensor not ready, T:100000.0 B:3950.0 C:0.00e+0 R:4700.0 L:54 H:-9
This all worked fine before the upgrade.

      Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)
      Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.01-RC12 (2020-05-06b1)
      Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.23

      Thx for any suggestions!

Do you have the following right after the M950 defining the bed heater?

        M140 H0

@4lathe It was in the upgrade notes for RC10...
          https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/blob/v3-dev/WHATS_NEW_RRF3.md#reprapfirmware-301-rc10

You should probably go through all the notes since the last release you had.
