after the help i got i managed to reach to this
    FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 3.1.1 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX2 FIRMWARE_DATE: 2020-05-19b2
ok i thought this is it but the first thing i noticed is i cant home any axis but they move to any direction i want....
    my home x
    ; homex.g
; called to home the X axis
    ;
; generated by RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool on Tue Oct 09 2018 13:27:56 GMT+0300
    G91 ; relative positioning
    G1 Z5 F1000 S2 ; lift Z relative to current position
G1 S1 X-355 F6000 ; move quickly to X axis endstop and stop there (first pass)
    G1 X5 F3000 ; go back a few mm
G1 S1 X-355 F360 ; move slowly to X axis endstop once more (second pass)
    G1 Z-5 F1000 S2 ; lower Z again
    G90 ; absolute positioning

and this is what i get when i go homex
Warning: Obsolete use of S parameter on G1 command. Use H parameter instead.
    Error: Failed to enable endstops

endstops trigger the light on the duet but they are not present in dwc 0 and 1 N/A 2 no
    any ideas....

Please post your config.g and all your homing files. Also tell us what type of printer it is, where the end stops are physically located.

Also it looks like you might be trying to update an older style config.g, but if your printer is straightforward you may want to create a fresh config specifically for reprapfirmware 3 with the config tool.

the drive section was copy paste from the old one...because one stepper was faulty so i shifted it
the printer is a corexy cubeblv

          thanks

@kostasbmw said in homing problems after the upgrade:

            ; Endstops
            M574 X1 S1 P"null" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on X via pin null
            M574 Y2 S1 P"null" ; configure active-high endstop for high end on Y via pin null
            M574 Z1 S2 ; configure Z-probe endstop for low end on Z
            ; Z-Probe
            M950 S0 C"duex.pwm5" ; create servo pin 0 for BLTouch
            M558 P9 C"zprobe.in+zstop" H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
            G31 P25 X28.5 Y-5 Z0 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
            M557 X15:285 Y15:285 S20 ; define mesh grid

Quick look at endstops and probe section tells me that you didnt configure them correctly. Where are you X and Y endstops connected to? Normal way to do this is to connect them to Xstop and Ystop pins, so
            M574 X1 S1 P"xstop" and
            M574 Y1 S1 P"ystop"
For probe delete +zstop part , assuming your probe is connected to zprobe connection. So that will be M558 P9 C"zprobe.in" H5 F120 T6000

i did the correction to the endstops mannually because in the configurator i have the choice of low and high end and that is what i did....maybe there is something i did nt do
now i home all axis ......
i copied all my previous mumbers to the new config and i m checking the behaviour of the printer

thanks for your assistance .....untill the next problem....
