      Hi,

Once we have true variables in v3 firmware we are going to need a way to display them and change their value.

I am using dummy fan names now for a couple of "mode variables" where the name of the fan is the name of the current mode.

I change the name with a macro button that cycles through the possible names. Naturally the current name is displayed like any other fan.

Cycling through the names is not a problem right now because the number of choices is 2 and 3 for the two modes.

But a pull down menu or a multiple choice dialog box would be a improvement over cycling.

It would also be nice to have a way to display a "title" for the variable along with it's current value.

      Thanks for listening.
