I have an application where it would be nice to run a couple axes in M951 (at low ish PID loop frequencies), but I also have a regular Z axis. Would it be possible to make M951 more generic to allow for any of the named Axes (XYZABCDUVW) to run a loop and to allow at least a couple of them to go at once? Bonus points if it's expansion board compatible.

It would be possible to generalise it to multiple axes, at least on Duet 3; but it currently won't control motors attached to expansion boards.

@dc42 That would work fine for my application! As long as I keep the number of axes which need it low.
