      Hello,
I have bought an original BLTouch from "antclabs", I've checked my wiring twice but it still flashing red when I power it up.
When the machine is powered, the tip of the BLTouch deploys touches the glace bed and retracts. It does it twice but then comes back up and doesn't stop flashing red. When you look on the DWC it gives you "Z probe: 1000".
I've also tried different codes like M401 or M280 P0 S10 to test it but nothing happens.
The BLTouch is connected to the PWM1 on the duex board and the two other wire are connected to the duet 2 on the "z probe in" PIN and the "GND" PIN.

The machine is a custom made printer:

      • Board : Duet 2 wifi + Duex 5
      • Firmware : 3.1.1
      • BLTouch : 3.1 original
      • That's my config.g :

The file you posted says you are using v3 firmware.

The syntax used by the commands configuring your BLTouch are for v2.

So please verify what firmware you are using.

Printers: a small Utilmaker style, a small CoreXY and a E3D MS/TC setup. Various hotends. Using Duet 3 hardware running 3.4.6

This isn't used in RRF3 anymore. Remove it.

Confirm your firmware version with M115.
          Are you actually on 3.1.1?

Firmware 3.2 is out now as well so please update.

You can upload this zip file to the system tab.

When the machine is powered, the tip of the BLTouch deploys touches the glace bed and retracts. It does it twice but then comes back up and doesn't stop flashing red.

If after all of that you still can't get the pin to deploy and retract with M401 and M402 check the wire going to duex.PWM1 for continuity. Maybe a bad crimp.

          Otherwise try PWM5 instead.

The pin must be clear of any obstacles on startup. so if it's hitting the glass at startup it's probably going into error mode.

I've done the update and deleted the "M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1", and everything seems to work. 👍

But I have been looking to see how the bed compensation works because my printing surface is very big (1 000 x 1 200mm). I've adjusted it manually has good as I could but it is not sufficient.

The printer has got 2 separate Z-axis, one each side. And a moving Y platform. It's a cartesian printer.

It might be very simple but I can't seem to understand it 😅 . What codes do I need to send so I can print something with the bed compensation?

why are you adjusting the result of the bltouch probing?

What codes do I need to send so I can print something with the bed compensation?

depends, if you want to probe before printing G29
if you want to reload previous results G29 S1

the G29 needs be be after the G28

@Veti I adjusted the bed manually to have it as accurate as I could so the printer doesn't have to compensate too much.

I've done the G28 then the G29 but after that, the only thing that I can do is see the heightmap on the DWC. But how do I load the heightmap into a file with a model in it so it can adjust the height automatically when printing?

                What does G32 do?

                  g29 enables the compensation.
                  check with m122
